The TRINE Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Grease Filter is American-Made with premium grade 304 stainless steel and one of the most durable filters you will find.

A unique feature of this grease filter is its ridged baffles. This provides superior grease extraction over filters with smooth surfaces. In addition, the filter's dual-riveted construction gives it improved strength and durability over fully riveted hood filters.

Stainless steel hood filters offer the best overall value and are the most popular. They provide the best appearance, last the longest, and are easiest to clean. They are ideal for tough commercial kitchens and provide maximum protection against rust and corrosion.

    • Designed specifically for commercial kitchen exhaust systems to provide safe, dependable, and positive flame barrier protection.

    • Seamless, ridged baffles maximize grease retention while minimizing airflow restriction for superior performance over smooth baffles.

    • Low static pressure ensures quiet operation.

    • Drop handles included for safe handling, ease of installation, and simple removal for cleaning.

    • Easily cleaned and dishwasher safe.

    • UL Listed and certified in the United States and Canada.

    • NSF approved and certified.

    • Fire Code Compliant and meets NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) fire code standards.

    • MADE IN THE USA.

Why Ridged Baffles vs Smooth Baffles?

When kitchen exhaust air passes through the baffles of a hood filter, the air turns and momentum throws the grease particles out of the air stream as it changes direction. Ridged baffles facilitate grease extraction by turbulating the air stream, which shakes the grease loose, and results in a higher degree of extraction over smooth airflow.

1. What does dual riveted mean?

This provides superior grease extraction over filters with smooth surfaces. In addition, the filter's dual-riveted construction gives it improved strength and durability over fully riveted hood filters.

2. Do you have hooks for this filter?

This filter does not have hooks available. However the Flame Gard and Kason filters do. They can be found here.

3. How do I choose the right size hood filter?

The safest thing to do is to measure each of the filters that are currently in the hood. Remember, the height is the first measurement listed. If you do not have filters in your hood to measure you can start by measuring the hood opening from top to bottom and left to right. Make sure you are measuring where the filters are actually installed, not the overall hood itself. Once you have the hood opening measurements you can use our handy filter calculator to pick your filters and then determine how many will fill your space. If you still need help determining sizes or type of filter our staff is always ready to help, you can reach us at 877-394-9731 or by email at customerservice@hoodfilters.com.

4. How do I clean this filter?

Filters can be cleaned by hand, in a dishwasher or by soaking them in a sink or tank. Please see page 12 of our Hood Filter Handbook for more details.
