16" X 25" Spark Arrestor Filters should be used in exhaust hoods where solid fuel cooking appliances are present. These filters help to arrest any airborne sparks and/or embers created in the cooking process before they can enter the grease ducts. NFPA 96 defines solid fuel as "any solid organic, consumable fuel such as briquettes, mesquite, hardwood or charcoal".
