Choosing Filter Size |
|
Hood exhaust filters should always be installed
with the baffles running in the vertical (top to bottom) position. This
allows the
grease to run down the baffles to the grease trough and then to be collected
inside the hood grease containment system. All filters should be tight
fitting in the exhaust hood. Note, no gaps should be present! Industry
standard sizes are ordered with the vertical (top to bottom) dimension
first, the Horizontal dimension
Second. See examples Below. |

Filter sizes should be ordered with
the vertical (top to bottom) dimension first and the horizontal (left
to right) dimension
last. Review the example above and be certain to round up to the nearest ½”,
then select the corresponding size when ordering. If actual filter size
is 19-1/2” X 19-1/2” you would order a 20” X 20” filter.
